Going beyond expectations is a wonderful thing. So, I encourage you to research ideas, such as the Cartesian Plane to expand your knowledge, and dig deeper to understand. You may be thinking that there isn’t a difference between knowing something, and understanding something. Well, there is. In science, one of the things we’re learning is the brain. In addition, what neurons are. Neurons connect when you understand something. The only way you can create connections, and truly understand something is by constantly reviewing something you know. That’s where the difference is. When you know something your neurons haven’t connected and you’ll forget it pretty easily. As you see there is a difference between knowing and understanding. In all, I hope you acquired a level of greater knowledge from this letter.

Working with you will be a great pleasure, knowing that you enjoy math can be a step forward to achieving one of my goals for this collaboration, working together on projects about history and math. France is a very important to our history, right now we are learning in math about the Cartesian Plane made by Rene Descartes in 1596-1650. He was French, and that is just one example of how France impacted our country. However, that is not the most significant way Frace impacted us. The American Revolution, was something that France was apart of, and made a very powerful impact to our country; without France, our Revolution would have been a failure. France, in numerous ways impacted our country, so working with you and Stevan will boost all of our knowledge in several concepts tremendously, especially in history.
